ReAlLy???

So I just got done scanning (cause of how long the list is) a list of Net Lingo. And really??? First I am not saying that many of these letters are used, and I am not saying that parents and others don't need to know these acronyms, but how many people use GSYJDWYMNKH=Good seeing you just don't wear your MONKEY hat??? I am sure that many of the acronyms on this list are used, and to be honest I use some of them in my daily texting and IM. But mine do consist of the ones that would be NORMAL and used probably by most of you, DH-dear hubby, B4N-bye for now, BRB-Be right back ect. But some of them where just LMSO-laugh my socks off funny. Some of them have been around since b4 my time, and will be around long after my kids have kids. Like 20? Whats your 20 sound familiar? Some of them where cute and if I could ever remember the acronyms I might use them...AWGTHTGTTA-Are We Going To Have To Go Through This Again. But really how often is that going to come up unless you are always chatting with a really dense person. But now that I have given you all the 411 and I know a bit more I feel even older and more out of touch than I did already. I hope that texting goes out of style by the time my kiddos are old enough to think that they NEED cell phones and other forms of chatting. (I know they won't but a girl can HOPE!!)

Imagine...

Every since General Conference this last April I have wanted to put this saying on my wall. The second that I heard the talk Sacred Homes, Sacred Temples I had an idea...

Ok this is my very first run at this...but just imagine if the wall were pumpkin butter, the letters were a red cranberry color in vinyl, the pictures of the temples were smaller and framed. That the letters were all the same size and width as "can see" and straighter. I think that it will look great once its all done. But getting it all done and perfect is what I need your help with. I need constructive help, so please leave comments, or suggestions. And once I get it perfected I will post a picture again. This will be awhile, since paint is coming a few months down the line. But if you like it, or have another saying that you want on your wall, let me know. My new found adventure is to sell sayings, or letters that I cut with my cricut. I have looked around and the sayings at target that are general and pricey. But I can do it, and I can help you. So just let me know.

Nearly Two months

How long does it take to get a neurological consult? Nearly two month, alot of yelling, complain to Tricare, and finally going over the eye doctor's head to his supervisor. Noah FINALLY has an appt to see a neurologist. The appt isn't until the middle of June, but at least he has one. I wish that we didn't have to wait even that long to see one. As I watched my sisters son, who is 6 weeks older than Noah (Understanding that every day kids make leaps and bounds) I wanted to cry for Noah. I watch him get further and further behind because of this whole thing. I know that he will catch back up. But as every mom knows you want nothing but the best for your kids. It physically hurts you to see your child suffer, a phenomenon only Heavenly Father might one day explain to me. And it pains you even more to know that someone might be able to help if one doctor would have just signed the dumb papers weeks ago. My sister pointed out to me that Heavenly Father knew I would fight to get him what he needs, so that is why I have been blessed to have such a wonderful baby. (As anyone can attest to that has met him, he is the happiest, most lovable baby ever!!) And I am grateful for that trust.

House Guests

So we had our first house guests and it was great. This last week and a half was a busy one for our family. My youngest cousin got baptized, another cousin recieved his endowments in the San Diego Temple and another cousin got married. So my parents (who brought our second car and our dog down YEAH!!), sister and new brother-n-law, my other sister and her 3 boys, and my brother all came down for the weekend of festitives. It was a busy one kicking off on Thursday night (May 7). And ending on Sunday morning with a Mother's Day Brunch. After the weekend of cousin events, my family came and stayed at my house. Most just stayed the night before heading home, but my sister and her boys stay for some fun filled days. Isaac was so happy to have some other boys to play with. We took them to the Santa Barabra Zoo, and then the beach and the well loved PIRATE Park!! We had a blast. Well my sister left Wednesday morning (May 13) and our second set of house guest arrived Thursday, and we repeated the same activities along with this weekend's strawberry festivial. The beach didn't go over as well with the second set of kids, but we did have a blast at the zoo, and the festivial. I throughly enjoyed all my guests, thanks for coming, and helping me pass the time until John comes back. Now that we have an empty house again I have to get it back into shape for when John comes home this Saturday. At first I was really scared of being all by myself in a new house, in a new town for a month. But really it wasn't that bad. And hey, I better get used to it, since I get to do this over and over again for the next 5 yrs, some times for a month and some times for 6-7 months.

All in white

After the happy event
All who attended (minus the photographer)
The zoo
Isaac and HIS Nathan
Always so happy
Always with this face
The Zoo goers
Sheila enjoying the grassy hill
The race is on
All connected
Hatching
I think that this was a pretty good picture considering it was on a timer

Which one do you think he looks like?
The beach... So Benjamin got water by a wave by accident, and the next thing I know he runs past me like this. (Black block added for his protection)

YUMMY!! Dirty diapers were fun for both of us for the next few days!
Hurry cover them all up

Once Noah figured out that he could leave the blanket, there was no turning back

The Pirate Park
One time he got up here and spun around so much that he fell off.
After the beach, the park and on the way to dinner
At the strawberry festivial, all the kids rides were free!!
