The people John works with. The guys in civilian clothes are Djiboutians that they hire to translate and drive.
I thought that they said he was going to be safe, no gun or anything. Then why does he have a vest on?
Some pictures of the people...
The way the people in Djibouti live...
Some have better conditions...
Did you ever think that you would see this...
Yes that is a goat in a TREE!!!
Or MANY GOATS in a TREE!!!
He also see lots of these....
As you have seen Djibouti is very dry and brown, and well kinda ugly...it has not rained there in 2 YRS!! But it is lucky enough to have part of it, a very small part of it, to be by the ocean, many Africian countries can not asay that. Well John did get to go play in that ocean...He has got to have lots of fun, like riding on a helicopter, like this one...
And I think this is that place that is the 2nd lowest place above ground that is below sea level. I THINK!!!
Well his time is just about up, which I am happy about. But I am still grateful for him and our other friends that are serving our country. As well as all the people that I don't know...
THANK YOU armed services
